Google review link generator: one tap to your review box

Find your business and get the link that opens your Google review box straight away, plus a QR code and a printable card for the counter or the van. Ready-made texts make it easy to ask every customer.

Free, no sign-up. We find your business through Google Maps results and never ask for your Google login.

Where the numbers come from

A Google review link is your listing's own write-review address: search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= followed by your Place ID, the code Google gives every business on Maps. Tapping it opens the review box with your business already picked, after a Google sign-in if needed.

We find your Place ID by searching Google Maps for the name and town you enter, through DataForSEO, and show the listings that come back so you can pick the right one. The QR code and the card are made in your browser.

Google lets you ask for reviews, but not cherry-pick them. You can't ask only the customers you expect to be happy, and you can't offer anything in return, like a discount. Send the link to every customer after the job and you're within the rules.

Reviews also feed where you show up. Google says local results rest on relevance, distance and prominence, and that prominence includes how many reviews you have and how many websites link to you.

What to do with your result

A worked example

A plumber finishes a boiler service at 2pm. At 5pm the customer gets a text: thanks for having us round today, and if you've got a minute, a quick Google review would really help us, with the link.

One tap opens the review box with the business already picked. No searching Maps, no wrong listing.

The same QR code goes on the invoice and a sticker on the boiler, so the next service visit is a second chance to ask.

Questions, answered

How do I get a link for customers to leave a Google review?

Search for your business above, pick it from the list and copy the link. It opens the review box for your business, so customers don't have to find you on Google Maps first.

How do I make a QR code for Google reviews?

Pick your business, then download the QR code or the printable card. Put it on invoices, the counter, the van or the job sheet. Scanning it opens the same review box as the link.

Can I offer a discount for a review?

No. Google's rules ban offering anything in return for a review, and ban asking only the customers you think will be happy. Ask everyone, and offer nothing for it.

Why can't I find my business?

Use the name exactly as it shows on Google, plus your town. If you don't show a public address, add the main area you cover. If it still doesn't come up, paste your Place ID into the box under the search instead.

Does the link ever stop working?

It's tied to your Place ID, and Google says Place IDs can change over time, for example when a listing is moved or merged. If the link ever stops opening your review box, come back and make a new one.

Do customers need a Google account?

Yes. Google only takes reviews from signed-in accounts, so the link asks people to sign in first if they aren't already.
